Jason Frania's work deals with destructive potential he witnesses within himself and the world around him, directed towards the self or the external. Sometimes drawing from the history of humanity, sometimes from personal observations of the present moment. His work investigates the roots of these destructive tendencies that seem to live within us since the very beginning, capturing them by utilzing bright colors, strong contrasts and a very raw and sometimes brutish way of imagemaking.
