"My work deals with modern day concepts of masculinity by drawing a line from the beginnings of humanity to the present. Simultaneously, I‘m showing how that history is also a history of violence. Alternative concepts of human evolution, as they are found in various internet conspiracy theories, are also a central theme of my work.

I’m portraying all this through a naive aesthetic and post-internet irony. This allows me to show the absurdity and the contradictions within contemporary ideas of masculinity without pointing the finger too hard or acting like I have answers."
